A C Wharton Jr. took over the leadership of Memphis, Tennessee after a tumultuous, lengthy tenure by his predecessor. This video for the Memphis Chamber sought to provide the backstory of his life and explain his values by following him on one of his regular visits to his hometown of Lebanon. It provided him the chance to set a new tone for the city.
Thanks to the mayor’s unparalleled cooperation through extensive interviews, thoughtful cinematography by Lance Murphey and an evocative score by Jason Freeman, a unique portrait is created.
